Karkas is a display font, perfect for designing logos, posters, book covers, and titles in visual communications.
The unique Karkas font is OFL licensed. The letterforms are based on Ukrainian heritage. In the early 20th century, Ukrainian artist Vasyl Krychevsky created a poster for the film Taras Tryasylo, using monoline serif letters for the title. It’s hatching inspired the creation of a multilingual font for Latin and Cyrillic.
