Umbará Font

The Umbará Typeface is an original serif reading font, inspired by the old Umbará neighborhood of Curitiba, Brazil. It was conceptualized by Kawany Novak and designed by college student Marcus Nakamura, as part of his cornerstone project in Graphic Design at the Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná.

The font comprises more than 140 glyphs in the basic latin writing system, mainly supporting the Portuguese, English and Spanish languages. It features a set of alternative glyphs for the majority of the uppercase letter, granting a unique personality.
