TeX Gyre Adventor is a sans-serif font family based on the URW Gothic L fonts. It serves as a popular open-source substitute for ITC Avant Garde Gothic, originally designed by Herb Lubalin and Tom Carnase in 1970.
Distributed as part of the TeX Gyre collection under the GUST Font License, TeXGyreAdventor Font features four standard weights: regular, italic, bold, and bold italic. The fonts are greatly extended, providing rich diacritical support with over 1,100 glyphs per face in Type 1 and OpenType formats, including Vietnamese characters added by Han The Thanh.
