Aptos Font Family

Aptos is a contemporary, geometric sans-serif font family designed by Steve Matteson to succeed Calibri as Microsoft’s default typeface. Inspired by mid-twentieth-century Swiss typography, it balances rigid geometry with warm, humanistic touches.

Featuring clean lines, high legibility, and a neutral yet distinct personality, Aptos performs exceptionally well across both high-resolution digital screens and print. The family includes various weights (ranging from Light to Black) along with corresponding italics and a stylized display variant for headlines.

Styles included: Serif-Italic, Serif-Bold-Italic, Serif-Bold, Serif, SemiBold-Italic, SemiBold, Narrow-Italic, Narrow-Bold-Italic, Narrow-Bold, Narrow, Mono-Italic, Mono-Bold-Italic, Mono-Bold, Mono, Light-Italic, Light, Italic, ExtraBold-Italic, ExtraBold, Display-Italic, Display-Bold-Italic, Display-Bold, Display, Bold-Italic, Bold, Black-Italic, Black, Regular.
