Doc Lap (Independence) is a typeface based on the bold font style of Vietnam posters during wartime. It is inspired by Propaganda Art – an effective ‘weapon’ in the anti-imperialist resistance war. Thus, the typeface is aimed to arouse patriotism and the joy of national reunification when looking back to Vietnam’s founding history.
