Jun Han Sim always admired basic geometric shapes and explored creating a typeface using simple lines and circles. Starting with the circular “o,” he designed characters like a, b, c, and d, drawing inspiration from sans-serif fonts like Inter and Satoshi, as well as the Bauhaus font.
Intended as a display font with tight kerning, Epoch features bold, straight, and circular lines to achieve a visually striking yet timeless aesthetic, completing the basic Latin character set with a focus on geometric simplicity.
