Fasol SP is an experimental decorative font featuring elements of calligraphy, ancient cultural scripts, and musical notation. The presence of a treble clef and rhythmic visual repetitions in the letter strokes resembles a musical score. Some glyphs mimic musical symbols and notes.
The font includes 122 characters: punctuation marks, numerals, and supports Russian, Ukrainian, English, and about 60 other languages. Active loops, curls, and asymmetries create a sense of dance and movement.
There is rhythm and structure, but they are subtle — the font seems to deliberately “encode” the usual letter shapes. This font is ideal for designing posters for musical events, avant-garde artist and composer concerts, jazz and folk performances, as well as album covers and logos.
