Jester Typeface

Jester is an experimental font family, a fork of Trickster, designed by Jean-Baptiste Morizot. Jester family comes in 22 variations, each named after one of the cards of the divinatory tarot.

Unlike classical specimens, Jester prefers to explains its origins with a fiction: «Obsidian Grail», allowing ourselves to think type design outside of our reality. Say goodbye to typographic hierarchy & font markets. In this world, poetry, magics & meaning are kings.
