Lalezar is an Arabic and Latin display typeface for popular culture. In 1960s and 1970s Iran, Film-Farsi emerged, featuring romantic, musical, and heroic films with exaggerated posters. These posters used bold, dynamic lettering, which became a hallmark of the era.
Lalezar Font revives this style, transforming it into a modern Arabic display font with a Latin companion, inspired by Persian lettering, but designed for languages using the Arabic script.
