SpaceDog is a custom variable typeface created by designer Beau Maher, inspired by Soviet-era numbers from a vintage Eastern European watch dial (named after Laika).
Featuring both standard (SpaceDogVF.ttf) and dog-breed-renamed variation (SpaceDog-OffLeadVF.ttf) files, it includes dual axes for Weight and Width—offering over 640,000 distinct character combinations. The brutalist, geometric aesthetic relies on square, circular, and triangular forms, delivering a striking, high-impact display font.
