GT America font connects two centuries of typographic genres, combining 19th century American Gothic and 20th century European Grotesk styles. The result is one cohesive typeface family unified under the best design features from both traditions.
Originally released in 2016, this update implements the typographic system in variable font format as well as five new scripts.
Designed by Noël Leu, with Seb McLauchlan. Script extensions by Grilli Type with Tania Chacana. Consulting by Maria Doreuli (Cyrillics), Vassilis Georgiou (Greek), Donny Trương (Vietnamese).
