Meet “Stengazeta,” a retro-inspired font. Its name is derived from Soviet-era “wall newspapers,” a unique blend of handwritten art, newspapers, and posters. These creations were ubiquitous, found in factories, schools, labs, and even military and police establishments. While sometimes used for official propaganda, they also allowed colleagues to showcase their creativity and self-expression.
The font features a massive grotesque face with a distinctly hand-crafted effect. It supports the extended Cyrillic alphabet for Eastern European languages, as well as the extended Latin alphabet. “Stengazeta” is ideal for headlines, poster design, web design, branding and packaging, illustrations, icons, and other typographic works.
